FABRIZIO BOSSO & JAVIER GIROTTO “LATIN MOOD”
The Latin Mood, led by Fabrizio Bosso and Javier Girotto, take the stage to present the greatest hits from their two albums Sol and Vamos, embellished by Latin rhythms and influences.
On stage, featuring Bosso (trumpet) and Girotto (sax), pianist Natalio Mangalavite, Luca Bulgarelli to play the counter bass, Lorenzo Tucci on drums, and Bruno Marcozzi on percussions.
Between typical Latin American rhythms (Algo Contigo, by Argentinian Chico Novarro, one of the greatest bolero and tango composers) and original songs by Girotto, Bosso and Mangalavite, there’s also room for new melodies, first among all A taste of honey by Herb Alpert, theme song of the TV show “Tutto il calcio minuto per minuto”.
An excellent combo of great artists. Trumpet and sax solos are heartbreaking, the energy spread in the entire work is incredible and it helps create a fun and enthralling performance. There’s no excess of exoticism in their performance: mindful of their Latin Jazz background, they rearrange unique rhythms with flair, in a very personal way.
